"We were going to emphasize the run game early and establish the line of scrimmage," head coach Lance Leipold said. "If you looked at our first two games, we generated big plays through the air, but we never got the running game consistently going. To see us methodically move down the field was a pleasure to see."
The Bulls took the opening kickoff and drove 75 yards on 11 plays, capped by a 14-yard touchdown run by Jackson to take an early 7-0 lead.
After a three-and-out for the Raiders on their first possession, Buffalo needed only four plays to score their second touchdown of the game.
