(CLICK READ MORE TO CONTINUE . . . ) ![]() The University of Toledo and Brigham Young University have agreed to play a home-and-home series in football beginning next season, UT vice-president and athletic director Mike O’Brien announced. The Rockets will play at BYU on Friday, Sept. 30, 2016 while the Cougars will make the return trip to Toledo on Sept. 28, 2019. “We are very pleased to add the series with BYU to our football schedule,” said O’Brien. “BYU has an excellent football tradition and will be a very attractive opponent on our 2019 home schedule. We also look forward to making the trip to Provo, Utah next season.” (CLICK READ MORE TO CONTINUE . . . ) ![]() BUFFALO, NY – The Buffalo Bulls added some size to its offensive line with the addition of JUCO transfer Trey Bowman. The 6-4, 285 lb. native of Carter Lake, IA comes to UB from Iowa Western Community College and will be eligible for the 2015 season. He will have three years of eligibility remaining. At Iowa Western, Bowman helped lead the Reivers to the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) National Championship Game in 2014. ROSEMONT, Ill. – The Men's Basketball Collegiate Officiating Consortium LLC, representing the Big Ten Conference, Mid-American Conference (MAC), Summit League and Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference, has announced that veteran college basketball official Mike Sanzere will join the staff beginning with the 2015-16 season. Sanzere retires from officiating following a distinguished 36-year career to serve as the primary liaison for officiating in the MAC, Summit League and Northern Sun, while also providing assistance to the Big Ten. ![]() Bowling Green, Ohio – Bowling Green State University men's basketball head coach Michael Huger has announced the addition of both Antwon Lillard (Cleveland, Ohio/Cleveland Central Catholic H.S.) and Ismail Ali (South Hayward, California/Antelope Valley College/San Leandro H.S.) to the Falcon program, beginning in the summer of 2015.
