Knapke was a perfect 6-of-6 from the field with all of his shots coming from three-point range. The Maria Stein, Ohio native finished one three-pointer away from tying former Rocket Nick Moore's school record for most treys in a game without a miss.
Joining Knapke in double figures were seniors Nate Navigato (15 pts.), Jaelan Sanford (14 pts.) and Chris Darrington (11 pts.). Sophomore guard Marreon Jackson tied for the team rebounding lead with five boards and also dished out a team-high five assists.
The Rockets converted 19-of-24 free-throw attempts but that was offset by their 36.2 field-goal percentage and Wright State's 48-27 rebounding advantage. The Raiders shot 45.8 percent from the field and 20-of-26 from the charity stripe.
"Wright State is a very good team and we need to play with more consistency to win a game like this on the road," Head Coach Tod Kowalczyk said. "We also have to play with more energy and that really showed up tonight on the boards."
Toledo returns to action on Monday, Nov. 19 when it faces Florida Gulf Coast in the Gulf Coast Showcase in Estero, Fla. Tip-off time for the contest is set for 7:30 p.m.
