Getting a draft night call for an NFL team is a special experience, and three Mid-American Conference players enjoyed that moment through the first three rounds.
Western Michigan receiver Skyy Moore was the first to get selected, going to the Kansas City Chiefs on the 54th overall pick. Central Michigan offensive lineman Luke Goedeke (pick 57) also sent in the second round. He's headed to Tampa Bay. Meawhile, Austrian-born and raised Bernard Raiman was selected by Indianapolis in the third round (pick 77).
With four more rounds scheduled for Saturday, a number of other MAC players could get the call. Beyond that, NFL teams quickly pivot reaching out for quality "undrafted" free agents to join their ranks. It's a chance to fight for a spot -- whether it is with that team or another that sees some good skills/potential on preseason tape.
