BUFFALO, NY -- The Bowling Green Falcons road success continued Friday as BGSU knocked off Buffalo 76-69 at Alumni Arena.

Buffalo fell to 3-2 MAC (5-4 overall), with the Bull's only conference losses coming at the hands of the BGSU.
Like Bowling Green, the Bulls have been enjoying success. They had won four of their last five games, with the only loss coming in overtime at Syracuse (107-96).
Buffalo, however, led just once, 6-5, after a Ronaldo Segu triple at 17:17. Daeqwon Plowdon responded in kind at the other end, and Justin Turner followed with a jumper.
Josh Mballa's two free throws pulled UB within two at 10-8, but that was as close at the Bulls would get in the first stanza. Jacob Washington's bucket at 14:27 kicked off a 10-1 Falcon run and BGSU eventually took a 16-point lead (41-25) to the locker room at intermission.
Buffalo battled its way back and trailed 59-58 with 6:40 left in the contest following a triple by Jayvon Graves. Turner, however, answered with a layup and the visitors inched away with a 7-1 run. Converting opportunities at the foul line, Bowling Green maintained at least a five-point lead, and led by as many at 10, through the finish.
Both teams played tough defense. That resulted in low shooting percentages from the floor and many opportunities at the line.
Buffalo actually had one more field goal, hitting 23-of-66 shots (34.8%) and one more 3-point goal (6-of-27; 22.2%). The Bulls were 17-of-26 at the line.
Bowling Green, meanwhile, converted 27-of-37 (74%) charity tosses. The Falcons hit 22-of-71 (31.o%) from the field and 5-of-22 (22.7%) outside the arc.
Turner lead all scorers with 25 points, connecting on 9-of-18 from the floor and 6-of-8 at the line. Other Falcons in double figures were Plowden (13), Caleb Fields (12) and Washington (10).
Jeenethan Williams and Graves paced UB with 17 apiece, followed by Ronaldo Segu (15) and Mballa (14).
