The Rockets have had just one losing season since Tod Kowalcyzk took over in 2010-2011. Toledo went 4-28 that season, but have won at least 15 games in each of the remaining 13 campaigns. In fact, UT has posted at least 20 wins in eight of those seasons, including the last four.
The Rockets also finished first (MAC) in each of those campaigns and made three straight NIT appearances, beginning in 2020-21.

. . . almost become a habit. However, winning the MAC tournament and its NCAA tournament bid has not. Kent State knocked UT out in the MAC semi-finals last year before losing to rival Akron in the championship game.

Guard Dante Maddox averaged 15.6 ppg for UT last year and is averaging 6.7 ppg with 18.1 minutes per game at Xavier this season.
Senior guard Ra'heim Moss contributed 15.5 ppg for Toledo last year. He's now averaging 1.8 ppg and 12.8 mpg with a 12-1 Oregon team.
Tyler Cochran is with Minnesota, but he had foot surgery and has yet to play.
>> Sophomore forward Javan Simmons has returned and is averaging 11.3 ppg this season.
>> Senior guard Isaiah Adams previously played at Central Florida and Buffalo. He averaged 12.8 ppg for the Bulls last year and is averaging 10.0 ppg through 12 games with UT.
>> Through 12 games, Toledo ranks fifth among MAC teams in scoring (77.1 ppg) and is 11th in scoing defense (77.8 ppg). That gives the Rockets a margin of minus-0.8 (8th MAC).
>> As usual, the Rockets are among the leaders in shooting. UT ranks third in shooting percentage (46.3%) overall. However, it is just seventh in 3-point shooting (33.0%) and 11th in 3-point goals per game (6.0).
>> Toledo is eighth in rebounding (34.5 rpg) and is sixth in turnover margin (1.92).
>> UT opens MAC play Saturday at Western Michigan.
