>> Last year's team had two big runs. Starting Jan. 16, Ohio won six of its next seven outings. After two losses (one non-conference), the 'Cats ran off seven more wins before losing to tourney champ Akron in the semi-finals.

>> The Bobcats top scorrer from last year -- Jaylin Hunter (14.0 ppg) is both gone. However, 6-8 forward AJ Clayton (12.0 ppg) is back. The preseason All-MAC First Team pick is averaging a team-best 16.4 ppg through 12 games this season. Senior guard Shereef Mitchell is also back. He averaged 13.3 ppg in 2023-24 but has averaged just 6.4 ppg while playing in just five games so far.
>> Sophomore guard AJ Brown averaged 9.7 ppg last year and has bumped that production up to 11.8 ppg this season. Junior forward Aidan Hadaway (6-8, 220) and junior guard Elmore James are just short of double figues with contributions of 9.9 ppg and 9.3 ppg, respectively.
>> Ohio ranks third among MAC teams in scoring (79.7 ppg) and is ninth in scoring defense That leaves the 'Cats with a scoirng margin of +4.4 (5th MAC).
>> The Bobcats are second in both field goal percentage (46.7%) and 3=point shooting (36.2%).
>> Ohio ranks 10th in rebounds (33.9 rpg) and is fourth in turnover margin (+2.50).
>> Jackson Paveletzke tops MAC players in assists per game (5.9). He is second in assists/turnover ratio (2.3).
