OVERVIEW:
>> The Eagles are looking for their first winning season since 2017-18 (22-13). They were 16-16 in 2019-20 but were under .500 in each of the following years.
Former EMU player Stan Heath took over in 2021 and guided the Eagles to 13 wins last year.
>> Guard Tyson Acuff led EMU last year, scoring 21.7 ppg. while averaging 37.9 minutes per contest. He's now at Rutgers, averaging 2.8 ppg and 11.4 minutes in his senior season.
>> The Eagles finished non-conference play with a 6-6 record. That included a three game win streak in late November. Three straight losses followed, but . . .

>> Eastern Michigan has connected on 44.4 percent (6th MAC) from the field overall and 33.7 percent (5th MAC) this year.
>> EMU is averaging 32.3 rebounds per contest (12th/last MAC), while opponents are pulling down 34.8 (5th MAC). The Eagles are ninth in rebounding margin.
>> Eastern Michigan ranks ninth in turnover margin (0.17).
>> Senior guard Jalen Terry leads Eagle scorers with an average of 15.8 ppg. He also averaging 5.2 rpg and 3.5 apg. Terry is connecting on 45.8 percent from the field and 38.6 percent on threes.
