KENT, OH - Visiting Fresno State shot 60.0 percent from the floor, but Kent State took advantage of a turnover 22-12 advantage to defeat the Bulldogs 79-69 Saturday at the M.A.C Center.
The Flashes forced 22 turnovers while commiting just 12. That helped them finish with one more field goal, (4 more threes) and four more free throws.
Junior guard Jalen Sullinger led KSU with 17 points. Chris Payton Jr. contributed 13 and Cli'ron Hornbeak added 11.
Fresno State's Xavier Dusell led all scorers with 18 points.
