MAC Football East Division Offensive Player of the Week
Dustin Crum, Kent State, QB
Grad., Grafton, Ohio (Midview)
Crum led the Flashes to a 38-0 rivalry win with his legs this week, posting a season-high 114 yards on the ground and scoring his 9th and 10th rushing touchdowns of the year. He also had a career-long 62 yard jaunt in the first quarter, setting up the first score of the game. Crum also showed off his punting prowess, pooching a 30-yard kick downed at the one.

CJ West, Kent State, DL
Sophomore, LaGrange Park, IL (Nazareth)
West was a disruptive force for the Flashes in the shutout of the Zips. West had the first three sack game for the Flashes since 2015 and helped the defense hold the Zips to just 188 yards of offense. West led a defense to the team's first shutout since 2009 and the first in the Wagon Wheel game since 1949

Andrew Glass, Kent State, K
Freshman, Wheeling, W.Va. Wheeling Park
Glass made all seven of his kicks and ran his consecutive field goal streak to nine straight. Glass connected from 20, 31 and 43 to account for the Flashes second-half scoring. Glass also continued to neutralize the kick return game, limiting the Zips to just 71 return yards on 8 kickoffs, good for less than 9 yards per return
MAC Football West Division Co-Offensive Players of the Week
Lew Nichols III , Central Michigan, Running Back
R-Freshman, Detroit, Mich. / Cass Technical
Nichols posted his second-straight 200+ yard rushing performance, gaining 219 yards on 32 carries in a victory at Ball State, 37-17. He scored three touchdowns including a 66-yard score in the second quarter. He is the first CMU player with back-to-back 200-yard rushing performances since Thomas Rawls in 2014 and just the third in program history. Nichols also caught one pass for 17 yards, giving him 236 all-purpose yards. He now leads the country in rushing yards and is second in all-purpose yards.
Bryant Koback, Toledo, RB
Junior, Holland, Ohio (Springfield)
Koback rushed for 203 yards and four touchdowns, including a game-breaker on fourth down in the third quarter, to lead Toledo to a 35-23 victory at Ohio on Tuesday. He also caught three passes for 19 yards. Koback scored from 8, 4, 55 and 13 yards out, lifting Toledo to its second consecutive win. The 55-yarder came on fourth-and-one and Toledo holding a slim 14-9 lead midway the third quarter. Koback now has 1,139 yards on the season, the second time in his career he has cracked the 1000-yard mark. He also moved past Terry Swanson for fourth on Toledo's all-time list with 3,765 career rushing yards.

C.J. Brown, NIU, Safety
Freshman (2nd Year), Canton, Michigan (Walled Lake Western HS)
NIU safety C.J. Brown made a career high 13 tackles, including 10 solo stops, to lead the Huskies defensive effort versus Buffalo. Brown's 1.5 tackles for loss were also a career best. Brown's efforts helped the Huskies limit the Bulls to just 162 passing yards on 16 completions. He made 8 of his 13 tackles in the second half and overtime, including two on UB's offensive production in overtime that eventually led to a Huskie fumble recovery.

Chad Ryland, Eastern Michigan, Kicker
Junior, Lebanon, Pa. (Cedar Crest)
Ryland already the program’s all-time record holder in PAT attempts (142), PAT makes (138), and longest field goal (t-1; 55 yards), set yet another record against Western Michigan, Nov. 16. The Lebanon, Pa. native hit five field goals, the most ever in a single game for the program.
