Schlee had a strong game, leading the Flashes to a key MACtion win over Bowling Green. Schlee tossed a trio of TD passes and kept the Falcons' defense guessing, running the RPO game to perfection, adding a rushing touchdown as well.

Marvin Pierre, Kent State, LB
Grad, Rahway, N.J.
Pierre helped to lead a defense that held BG to 0-6 on fourth down and under two yards per rush. Pierre had nine tackles, a sack, a qb hurry that led to an interception and capped off the impressive day with a 33-yard pick six to put the exclamation point on the MACtion win.

Alex McNulty, Buffalo, Kicker

Alex McNulty made all five of his kicks against Central Michigan, including two field goals and three extra points. He made a 42-yard field goal just before the half and then connected on a season-best 54-yard field goal to give the Bulls a 27-24 lead in the fourth quarter. His 54-yarder was one yard shy of his own school record. It brought his season total to 18 made field goals, a program record for a single season.

Bert Emanuel, Jr., Central Michigan, QB

Quarterback Bert Emanuel rushed for 293 yards and three touchdowns on 24 carries for a 12.2 yards per carry average. The 293 yards rank as the fourth most rushing yards in a single game in school history and set a school-record for most single-game rushing yards by a quarterback in school history. The last time a Chippewa player rushed for 200 or more yards was Lew Nichols (219 yards) at Ball State on Nov. 17, 2021. Emanuel became the first player in college football this year to notch two runs of 75 yards or more. He registered the longest run of his career, a 75-yard touchdown run up the middle on the first play of the second half, then he backed that up with an 87-yard touchdown run late in the third quarter. The scores marked Emanuel’s first and second career touchdown runs and were both Central Michigan’s longest runs and offensive plays of the year. Emanuel scored a career-high three touchdowns on the day with runs of 75, 87 and the game-winning touchdown, a 1-yard run with 7:29 to play. The last time a player scored three touchdowns in a game was Lew Nichols at Ball State on Nov. 17, 2021. With Emanuel’s 293-yard day, Central Michigan has now had a quarterback rush for over 100 yards in consecutive games (Jace Bauer, 109, vs. Bowling Green; Jace Bauer, 109 yards at Northern Illinois, and Emanuel, 293 yards vs. Buffalo).

Senior defensive lineman Thomas Incoom made a career-high 13 tackles (10 solo). He notched 1.0 sack and 3.0 tackles for loss with a quarterback hurry. He now has 9.5 sacks and 16.5 tackles for loss on the year. He entered the game ranked No. 4 nationally in sacks and No. 9 nationally in tackles for loss.

Mitchell Tomasek, Eastern Michigan, Punter
Sophomore, Columbus, Ohio-Worthington Kilbourne
Mitchell Tomasek, the MAC leader in punting, continued his impressive season with a four-punt night at Akron, Nov. 8. He averaged 45.0 yards per punt against the Zips, and notched a long of 52 yards. Additionally, he was able to pin the ball inside the Akron 20-yard line on one occasion.
