BOWLING GREEN 28, TOLEDO 23
BOWLING GREEN, OH -
- Visiting Toledo (3-3, 1-2 MAC) built a 21-0 second quarter lead, but Bowling Green (3-3, 1-1 MAC) rallied for 28 straight points to beat the rival Rockets 28-23 Saturday at Doyt L. Perry Stadium. 
Toledo out-gained the Falcons by over 200 yards (429-226) and had 13 more first downs (23-10). However, BGSU scored on a 45-yard Lucian Anderson III pass to Cameron Pettaway just before halftime and carried the momentum forward after intermission. 
Anderson hit Harris on an 8-yard TD late in the third period and Bowling Green tied the contest (21-all) when wideout RJ Garcia connected with Pettaway on a 73-yard TD pass play midway through the fourth quarter. 
Two plays later, Toledo QB Tucker Gleason was sacked and fumbled. Isaiah Thomison recovered for the Falcons and one play later Chris McMillian ran for a 1-yard TD to put BGSU in front 28-21. 
The game's final two points came on the last play as Bowling Green took a safety while running ot the clock. 
• Anderson completed 9 of 16 passes for 92 yards with two TDs and one interception. Garcia's long TD pass gave the Falcons a total of 165 yards passing. 
•  Meanwhile, Bowling Green's run game was held to 61 yards on 36 carries. 
• Pettaway led all receivers with two receptions for 118 yards and two scores.
• Toledo's Gleason completed 19 of 30 for 264 yards, 1 TD, and 1 INT. 
• Junior Vanderbilt caught six balls totaling 100 yards. Chip Trayanum ran 27 times for a total of 125 yards and one score. 
• K'Von Sherman led Rocket defenders with 12 tackles (7 solo, 3 TFL). Gideon Lampron recorded 13 tackles (10 solo, 3.5 TFL) to lead the Falcon defense. 

EASTERN MICHIGAN 16, NORTHERN ILLINOIS 10
YPSILANTI, MI --
Trailing 10-6 after three quarters, Eastern Michigan (2-5, 1-2 MAC) rallied late for a 10-6 victory over Northern Illinois (1-5, 0-2 MAC) Saturday at Rynearson Stadum.

• EMU quarterback Noah Kim connected on 19 of 32 passes, good for 147 yards with one TD and one pick. Dontae M​cMillan led the run game with 23 carries totaling 104 yards. Joshua Long topped • Eagle receivers with five catches for 52 yards, including EMU's only TD. 
• NIU's Brady Davidson completed 11 of 26 passes totaling 94 yards (1 INT). Telly Johnson Jr. logged 12 carries for 137 yards and a TD. 
• Jasper Beeler registered 11 tackles (4 solo) for the Huskie defense. Andrew Marshall had 10 tackles (4 solo) for EMU.

MIAMI 20, AKRON 7

AKRON, OH --
Dequan Finn contributed 268 yards of offense and Miami (3-3, 2-0 MAC) dodged some early trouble as the RedHawks defeated Akron 20-7 Saturday at Infocision Stadium.
It was the second straight road win for MU, which again played without RB Kenny Tracy (and backup Josh Ringer). However, senior Jordan Brunson once again became the workhorse, logging 19 trips totaling 72 yards.

KENT STATE 42, MASSACHUSETTS 6
KENT, OH --
  Da'Realyst Clark returned the opening kickoff 91 yards for a touchdown, and Kent State (2-4, 1-1 MAC) went on to defeat Massachusetts (0-6, 0-2 MAC) 42-6 Saturday at Dix Stadium. 
The Minutemen managed two second quarter field goals, but KSU otherwise ruled the scoreboard. Kent State led 22-6 at intermission and was up 42-6 after three periods. Neither team scored in the final stanza. 
• Freshman QB Dru Deshields connected on 10 of 18 pass attempts, totaling 148 yards with four touchdowns to four different receivers. Dashawn Martin (3 catches, 42 yards, 1 TD) and Wayne Harris (4 catches, 26 yards) were the only KSU players with more than one reception. 
• Kent State rushed for 151 yards Jordan Nubin and Gavin Garcia led the way, combining for 26 carries, 151 yards and one TD. 
• The Flashes forced two turnovers while playing turnover-free football. 
• Clinton Robinson and Joel Boamah recorded interceptions, with the former returning his pick 43 yards. 
• The Kent State defense registered four sacks and 13 TFL.
• UMass was held to 44 yards on 33 rushes. 
• Minutemen QB AJ Hairston completed 26 of 48 passes totaling 227 yards with one interception.

WESTERN MICHIGAN 42, BALL STATE 0
KALAMAZOO, MI --
The Broncos held visiting Ball State (2-4, 1-1 MAC) to five firsts downs and 88 yards of total offense during a 42-0 Western Michigan (4-3, 3-0 MAC) rout Saturday at Waldo Stadium.
Just a week ago, Ball State upset Onio 20-14. Western Michigan, however, dominated the Cardinals while becoming the first MAC team to record three conference victories this year. The Broncos rolled up 461 yards of total offense while holding BSU to 88 yards. Ball State converted 1 of 13 third down chances, while WMU went 8 of 14. 
It was 7-0 after one quarter and 21-0 at intermission. Western Michigan added two touchdowns in each of the following periods. 
• Broc Lowry completed 23 of 27 passes (85.2%), good for 241 yards with two TDs. 
• Lowry also rushed for 108 yards with one TD on 13 carries, giving him 348 yards of total offense. 
• Western Michigan rushed for 219 yards and three scores. 
• Nine Broncos caught at least one pass. Talizue Williams led the group with five receptions totaling 55 yards. Aveion Chenault, Cade Conley and Michael Brescia each caught a TD pass. 
• WMU recorded five sacks and 10 TFL. Nadame Tucker was credited with 3.5 sacks. 
• Ball State QB Kiael Kelly completed 13 of 22 pass attempts totaling 68 yards. 
• Eric McClain picked off one Broncos pass.
