Senderoff is already the winningest coach in Golden Flashes men's basketball history. His teams have registered 288 wins (148 MAC), 11 winning seasons, nine 20-win season, eight postseason tournament appearances, three MAC Championships and two NCAA Tournament appearances.
Recent speculation suggested other schools (possibly including Fordham, according to CBS Sports' Matt Norlander) had interest Senderoff moving to their program.
The new deal effectively adds two years to Sendoff's existing contract.
