● UT owns a conference-high 42 ppg, but is 10th in scoring defense, allowing 35.0 ppg.
● Senior QB Logan Woodside completed 28 of 48 passes, good for 342 yards with three touchdowns against the “U.”
Woodside tops the conference in passing yards (336.5 ypg), passing efficiency and total offense (338.2 ypg).
● Running back Terry Swanson is the MAC’s second-leading rusher, averaging 88.9 ypg. His five TDs tops the loop. Sophomore Art Thompkins is 10th with an average of 60.8 ypg.
● Cody Thompson tops the Rockets and is second among MAC receivers, averaging 126.2 ypg and 18.7 ypc.
Diontae Johnson has 20 catches for 363 yards and five scores.
● Five UT defenders have at least 20 tackles through four games.
EASTERN MICHIGAN EAGLES
● The Eagles were tied with Kentucky 14-14 after two quarters Saturday. The ‘Cts ran off 10 points before EMU scored a final touchdown with 2:34 remaining. The PAT failed. A final desperation pass into the end zone was intercepted to seal the verdict.
● Eastern Michigan had three turnovers to just one for Kentucky.
● EMU totaled 312 to just 228 for UK and also had a 20-16 edge in first downs.
● Quarterback Brogan Roback completed 26 of 43 passes for 256 yards with one TD and two interceptions against UK. The senior ranks third among MAC Qbs in passing yards (263.5 ypg) and he is seventh in pass efficiency. He has thrown three TDs and four
interceptions.
● Junior Shaq Bann tops EMU rushes with 49 carries for 186 yards. Ian Ericksen owns all four Eagle rushing TDs.
● EMU’s top receiver is Sergio Bailey II, who owns 25 receptions for 347 yards and two TDs. Antoine Porter is next with 19 catches for 235 yards and a score.
● Jeremiah Harris (3.5) and Maxx Crosby (3.0) lead the Eagles in soacks. Harris has a total of 7.0 tfl.
