Jaret Patterson, Buffalo, RB; Dustin Crum (QB, Kent State)
Junior, Glendale, MD (Saint Vincent Pallotti)
Patterson rushed for a school-record 301 yards and added four touchdowns in Buffalo's 42-17 win at Bowling Green. Patterson carried the ball 31 times, averaging 9.7 yards per carry. He scored on touchdown runs of 17, 4, 15 and 57 yards. He added a season-long 67-yard run against the Falcons.
Dustin Crum, Kent State, QB
Senior, Grafton, Ohio (Midview)
Crum was magnificent against Akron, securing the Wagon Wheel for the second-straight year. He started the game 17-17 for 300 yards in the first half. He finished 22-25 for 348 and three touchdowns. He added another 104 yards on the ground on 13 carries and two more scores. His 452 yards of total offense is second-most in program history.
MAC West Division Offensive Player of the Week
D'Wayne Eskridge, Western Michigan, Wide Receiver

Eskridge put on a show last Wednesday in the Broncos’ 52-44 win over in-state rival Central Michigan. Eskridge recorded four receptions for 212 yards and three touchdowns in the victory. It was the second time in his career Eskridge has eclipsed the 200-yard receiving mark with his three receiving touchdowns setting a new career-high. Eskridge also had two kick returns for 41 yards to increase his MAC leading total to 253 all-purpose yards against CMU. Eskridge earned two of his three touchdowns in the third quarter with both being over 70 yards. It’s the second and third time this season Eskridge has scored a receiving touchdown of at least 70 yards. It was the third time under head coach Tim Lester the Broncos have had two receivers with 100 yards or more in a game, with all three times involving Eskridge.
MAC East Division Defensive Player of the Week
James Patterson, Buffalo, LB

Patterson recorded a career-high 13 tackles and added a pass breakup in Buffalo's 42-17 win over Bowling Green. Patterson had eight solo tackles - a game high.
MAC West Division Defensive Player of the Week
Jamal Hines, Toledo, Defensive end
Junior, Cincinnati, Ohio - Princeton
Hines was disruptive all night, tallying five tackles, 1.5 sacks, and scoring Toledo's final touchdown on the night with a 20-yard pick six.
Matthew Trickett, Kent State, PK
Junior Cleveland, Ohio (St. Ignatius)
Trickett hit all nine of his extra points in the wagon wheel victory. That pushes his extra points streak to 73 straight, dating back to 2018. Additionally, Trickett also executed an inadvertent on-side kick, skying a ball that was recovered by Dean Clark.
MAC West Division Special Teams Player of the Week
Thiago Kapps, Western Michigan, Kicker

Kapps was used early and often last Wednesday in WMU’s 52-44 win over Central Michigan. Kapps was a perfect 7-for-7 on PAT’s and was 1-of-2 on field goals, connecting on a 24-yard field goal. His perfect 7-for-7 performance against the Chippewas marked the 10th time in his career Kapps has been perfect on PATs. In three games Kapps has connected on 19 extra-point attempts, tying his for most in the Mid-American Conference. Against CMU, Kapps also had one kick-off for 65 yards, resulting in a touchback.
