Running back Andrew Clair racked up 113 yards on a career-high 25 carries. He also had two receptions totaling 15 yards and scored one TD. With Bryson Denley adding 36 yards on 12 carries, the running game produced 166 yards on 44 carries.
Oregon broke the game open with a 30-point second quarter and outscored BG 21-7 the rest of the way. Ugachkwu Amadi’s 38 –yard interception got the Ducks going again early in a third quarter of big plays. Oregon’s Taj Griffin scored on an 83-yard strike and Doege tossed a 63-yard bomb to Miller for Bowling Green.
It was UO’s first game under head coach Mario Cristobal. He took over after Willie Taggert left for Florida State.
