Buffalo linebacker Red Murdock, a First Team All-MAC selection was selected by the Denver Broncos with Pick No. 257. That made him the last pick in the draft. As such, he gets the title of Mr. Irrelevant.

• Two former Toledo players were drafted this year. Safety Emmanuel McNeil-Warren went to the Cleveland Browns with a second round pick. Cornerback Andre Fuller was seventh round selection for the Seattle Seahawks.
• Miami's Jackson Kuwatch will be joining Carolina after the Panthers used a seventh round pick for the linebacker.
Another former RedHawk -- wideout Reggie Virgil -- was selected by Arizona in the fifth round. Virgil was with Texas Tech in 2025 but previous enjoyed success as a Miami RedHawk.
