UB led wire-to-wire in the contest as it improved to 16-5 on the season and 8-0 in the MAC. Buffalo is now just the third MAC team since 2005 to start a season 8-0. Ohio lost for the fifth time in its last six outings, falling to 9-11, 2-6 MAC.

Perkins finished with a game-high 20 points on his milestone evening, while adding seven rebounds. Harris was one of two players to record a double-double as he had his third of the year with 17 points and 10 boards.
Smart posted the first double-double of his career with 10 points and a career-high 14 rebounds, the second straight game that Buffalo had a player with 14 rebounds in a game. Massinburg added 11 points and eight rebounds.
As a team, UB finished with 51 rebounds, the first time since last season against Ohio that the Bulls have recorded 50 rebounds in a game.
Massinburg and Perkins now become the first set of UB juniors to record 1,000 points in the same season since Rasaun Young and Mike Martinho did it in 1997.
Freshman Treyvion Kirk led the 'Cats, registering a double-double with 18 points and 10 rebounds. Senior Mike Lastor, junior Jordan Dartis and senior Kevin Mickle each contributed 11 points.
