➤➤ The Owls win over Maryland was a see-saw affair, with Temple moving in front a final time with 7:27 left in the game when Anthony Russo hit Kenny Yeboah with a seven-yard TD pass.
➤➤ Russo also opened the game’s scoring, finding Isaiah Wright for a 29-yard strike.
➤➤ Maryland had two safeties against Temple. One was on the game’s final play, while the other was midway through the first quarter.
➤➤ TU’s defense shut out a very potent Maryland offense through the first half. After allowing two third quarter TDs, the Owls again shut out UM’s offense in the final stanza.
➤➤ Cornerback Harrison hand recorded a team-high 10 tackles and picked off a Terrapin pass to the Maryland’s first drive.
➤➤ Temple threw for 277 yards, with Russo completing 20 of 37 passes and tossing three touchdowns. He was intercepted once.

➤➤ UB outscored Liberty 10-0 in the second half last week, but the hosts owned a 28-7 halftime advantage.
➤➤ Buffalo rushed for 206 yards, while holding Liberty to 76 on the ground. Sophomore Kevin Marks carried 18 times for 108 yards to lead the way. He currently ranks second among MAC rushers with an average of 82.3 ypg.
