Miami vs Central Michigan postponed

1/28/2020

OXFORD, Ohio – The Miami University men’s basketball game against Central Michigan scheduled for tonight (Tuesday) and tomorrow’s women’s basketball game vs. Western Michigan have been postponed. They will both be made up at a later date. Tickets for those games will be honored on the makeup date.
The school's Tuesday morning release did not give a reason for the postponement. However, Miami earlier reported two students who had recently returned from China, were being checked for coronavirus. Those two students are reportedly in insolation at their off-campus residence pending test results from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

According to Yahoo Sports, Central Michigan and Western Michigan initiated action for the postponement, which also involved Miami and Mid-American Conference officials.
