'Q' headed to Green Bay
Quinten Rollins, a former member of the Miami University football team, was selected by the Green Bay Packers on Friday, May 1 in the second round of the National Football League Draft. He was taken with the 62nd overall pick and was the first player from the Mid-American Conference selected.

Rollins is the first RedHawk picked in the NFL Draft since Zac Dysert was selected in the seventh round in 2012 by the Denver Broncos.

Rollins is also the highest Miami player selected since Ben Roethlisberger was taken 11th overall by the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2004.

The Wilmington, Ohio native has one of the most unique stories in this year’s draft. The defensive back played just one year of college football after participating with the Miami basketball team for four years.
