Boothe knocked down 7-of-9 shots from the field, including a three-pointer, and was a perfect 4-of-4 from the charity stripe. He also tied senior forward J.D. Weatherspoon and sophomore center Zach Garber for the team lead with six rebounds
Joining Boothe in double figures were senior guards Justin Drummond (12 pts.) and Julius Brown (10 pts.). Brown also dished out a team-high eight assists, with sophomore guard Jonathan Williams contributing nine points and a career-best six helpers.
Quinton Upshur paced Northern Arizona (0-2) with 13 points, with Kris Yanku and Jaleni Neely adding 11 and 10 points, respectively.
Toledo will now hit the road for a pair of contests this week, visiting No. 15 VCU (1-0) on Tuesday, Nov. 18 and Oregon (1-0) on Friday, Nov. 21. The Rockets return home on Monday and Tuesday, Nov. 24-25 for matchups vs. Bucknell (0-1) and either Detroit (1-0) or MD-Eastern Shore (0-1).
