BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – Evansville hit 80 percent of its shots from beyond the arc, keying a 91-76 win over Bowling Green Tuesday at the Stroh Center.

. . . shot 60.7 percent (34-of-56) from the field, and nearly went perfect at the line, finishing 11-of-13 (84.6 percent).
The Falcons trailed by six at the half, and quickly brought the score within one point at 46-45 with 18:48 to play, but the flurry of three-pointers for Evansville were too much to overcome.

After going 5-for-5 in the first half, Evansville missed its first three-point attempt in the second half. However, shortly after the Falcons clawed with one point, Evansville made its next five triples, running its total to an implausible 10-for-11 mark.

The Falcons shot the ball well, going 25-for-53 (47.2 percent) for the game. Bowling Green was held below its average from downtown, going 8-of-25 (32.0 percent) from long range. The Falcons went 18-for-27 (66.7 percent) from the charity stripe.

QUOTE OF THE GAME
"They (Evansville) shot it really well tonight. When you shoot that well from three-point range – 12-of-15 from three – it's tough to beat … Whenever you have a night like that, it's tough." – Coach Huger
