Tulsa turned things around with the help of a press and benefitted from 16 Ohio turnovers after intermission. The Bobcats committed 23 overall.
Jaaron Simmons led Ohio with 30 points, while Shaquille Harrison earned game-high honors with 31 markers (23 in the second half).
A Simmons layup and jordan Dartis three pulled Ohio within one with 10 seconds remaining. James Woodward made two free throws with six ticks left and UT fouled Simmons at 0:02. He made the first and missed the second in an attempt to get the rebound. However, Harrison grabbed the carom to preserve the win.
