Forsythe used back-to-back 20-point scoring efforts to lead the Akron Zips to a 2-0 record with a wins over Coppin State (82-58) and Marshall (75-65).
In two games, Forsythe played 52 minutes while recording 40 points on 19-of-26 shooting for a 73.1 percentage from the field. He pulled down 16 rebounds with five blocked shots, three steals, and one assist.
At home against Coppin State, Forsythe tallied a team-high 20 points while only missing the mark on two shots. He made 9-of-11 shots from the field, connecting at an 81.8 percent clip. In 25 minutes played, he collected eight rebounds (five defensive and three offensive) with three blocked shots, one assist, and one steal.
On the road against Marshall, his stat line looked nearly identical as the previous contest, recording 20 points and eight rebounds (six defensive and two offensive). He shot 10-of-15 from the floor (.667) with two blocked shots and two steals.
For the season, Forsythe leads the Zips' scoring efforts with 11.9 points per game scoring average and 95 total points scored. He has rejected a team-high 14 shots for 1.8 per game, and is second in rebounding with 61 total boards, averaging 7.6 per game.

Boothe tallied a team-high 22.0 ppg, 8.5 rpg and 1.5 bpg to lead Toledo to a pair of victories over Cleveland State and Green Bay. Boothe also registered a team-high 65.4 field-goal percentage (17-of-26) in addition to shooting 50.0 percent (2-of-4) from three-point range and 80.0 percent (8-of-10) from the charity stripe.
Boothe shared team scoring honors in Wednesday's 76-65 home win over Cleveland State and led the Rockets with eight rebounds and five assists.
In Sunday's 71-69 road win over Green Bay, Boothe poured in 27 points, grabbed nine boards and blocked a season-high three shots. Boothe's three-point play with 1:30 remaining brought UT to within 69-68 and set the stage for Jaelan Sanford's game-winning three-pointer at the buzzer.
