The Mid-American Conference on Monday announced its YP.com MAC Players of the Week. They are:
Isaiah Johnson, Akron
Junior, Center, Cincinnati, Ohio (Walnut Hills)
Johnson led the Akron Zips men's basketball to a pair of wins at the South Point Holiday Hoops Classic in Las Vegas, Nev. With the 2-0 showing, the Zips improved to 9-3, the best start in head coach Keith Dambot's tenure. Johnson was named MVP at the classic after recording a double-double in the final game.

Jonathan Williams, Toledo
Junior, Guard, Southfield, Mich (Southfield – Lathrop)
Williams scored 25 points, one shy of his career high, to lead Toledo to a 95-62 victory over North Carolina A&T on Monday. Williams shot a season-best 72.7 percent from the field on 8-of-11 shooting in the Rockets' lone contest of the week. He also knocked down a season-best 57.1 percent (4-of-7) from three-point range. Williams sparked the Rockets in the first half by burying his first three treys of the game en route to a 45-34 halftime advantage.
