East Division
Offensive Player of the Week: Miami QB Gus Ragland
Miami sophomore quarterback Gus Ragland (Cincinnati, Ohio) completed 26-of-35 passes for a career-high 380 yards and three touchdowns in Miami's 21-20 come-from-behind win over Ball State last Tuesday. The win moved Miami to 6-6 overall after opening the season 0-6. He completed passes to eight different receivers, erasing a 10 point second half deficit.
Defensive Player of the Week: Bowling Green LB Trent Greene
Bowling Green senior linebacker Trent Greene (Miami Gardens, Fla.) had two quarterback sacks, a forced fumble, a fumble recovery, a pass break-up, three tackles for loss and eight total tackles in a 27-19 win over Buffalo that gave the Falcons a three-game win streak to close the season. Greene disrupted Buffalo's offensive rhythm all afternoon, beginning with a second quarter sack on third down that stalled out one Bulls drive. On Buffalo's first possession of the second half, with the Bulls trailing just 14-12, Greene had a strip sack, recovering the fumble, and setting up a field goal that put Bowling Green ahead 17-12. He then added a game-saving tackle for loss as Buffalo had first and goal at the one-yard line with just nine seconds to play. The Bulls were unable to recover and could not punch in a touchdown that would have given them an opportunity to tie with a two-point conversion.

Special Teams Player of the Week:  Ohio K Louie Zervos
Ohio redshirt freshman kicker Louie Zervos (Tarpon Springs, Fla.) provided the offense for the Bobcats in their 9-3 win over Akron last Tuesday. Zervos went 3-3 on field goals with kicks of 23, 37 and 49 yards to tie the NCAA record for field goals made by a freshman placekicker. Zervos has 25 made field goals on the season and leads the MAC and ranks third in the NCAA. Zervos has converted 25-30 field goals this season (.833) and hit 31-33 PAT tries.

West Division
Offensive Player of the Week: Eastern Michigan QB Brogan Roback
Eastern Michigan junior quarterback Brogan Roback (Toledo, Ohio) threw for 355 yards and a pair of touchdowns, one of them coming in the final 30 seconds of the game, in a 26-21 win over Central Michigan last Tuesday. It marked the fourth time in his career that Roback had directed a game-winning drive in the fourth quarter. Roback accounted for 403 total yards, as he ran 11 times for 48 yards while completing 26-of-37 passes for 355 yards. Trailing 21-20, Roback connected with Sergio Bailey in the corner of the end zone for a touchdown with 19 seconds left in regulation.

Defensive Player of the Week:  Western Michigan LB Asantay Brown
Western Michigan junior linebacker Asantay Brown (Muskegon, Mich.) had an interception and returned it 21 yards for a touchdown on the very first play of No. 14 Western Michigan’s 55-35 win over Toledo on Friday. It was Brown’s first interception of the season and third of his career. The pick-six was the first of Brown’s career. He finished the game with six tackles, including a tackle for loss.

Special Teams Player of the Week: Toledo P Nick Ellis
Toledo senior punter Nick Ellis (Pickerington, Ohio) averaged 45.2 yards on four punts in rainy conditions in a 55-35 loss at Western Michigan on Friday evening.
