Bearden led the Bulls in their lone game this week as he finished with 18 points, seven rebounds and four assists in the 80-73 win over Montana St. Bearden also recorded a steal and didn't turn the ball over at all in 32 minutes of action. Bearden went 7-of-15 from the floor and a perfect 4-of-4 from the free throw line. He leads the Bulls in scoring and assists this year.
Marin Maric, Northern Illinois

NIU center Marin Maric averaged a double-double with 17.0 points and 10.0 rebounds as the Huskies split a pair of games against Ohio State and Florida International. Maric posted his third double-double of the season with 17 points and 11 rebounds in NIU's double overtime victory over Florida International (Dec. 19).
The sophomore from Croatia began the week with a career-best 17 points and nine rebounds at Ohio State (Dec. 16). Maric went 9-of-10 from the free-throw line against the Buckeyes and also added three assists, two blocks and a steal.
Maric matched his career-best with 17 more points and 11 rebounds as the Huskies won their eighth game of the season against FIU. Maric's 17 points and 11 rebounds gave him his third double-double of the season as the Huskies outlasted the Panthers. Maric also recorded three blocks, two assists and a steal in the contest.
