Ohio sophomore guard Mark Sears led the Bobcats once again on the court, helping Ohio close out non conference play with a 9-2 record. Against USC Upstate on Dec. 21, Sears scored a career-high 33 points, going 11-of-16 from the field, 1-of-3 from three and for the second-straight game was 10-of-10 from the line. Sears also tied a career-high with eight rebounds, while also dishing out three assists and grabbing two steals in the 85-70 victory.

Trey Diggs filled the stat sheet on Tuesday (Dec. 21) for Bowling Green against Carlow. Diggs posted 16 points, the second-most on the team, along with a team-leading, and season-high, nine rebounds. He added two assists and a steal to his round out his stat line.
Precious Ayah, Miami, Forward

Precious Ayah continued his impressive shooting from the field, pacing Miami in a 24-point non-conference win over Spalding in the RedHawks’ lone game of the week. Ayah had a team-high-tying 14 points, which led all scorers, going 6-of-7 from the field in just 15:19 minutes of action. He also sunk both free throw attempts. He added six rebounds, one assist, one steal and two blocked shots to his line. Ayah drained 85.7 percent of his field goals to improve upon his already sizzling season total and MAC-leading 76.3 percent field goal percentage.
Ryan Rollins, Toledo, Guard

Sophomore guard Ryan Rollins led Toledo to a 95-63 win over Marshall by tallying a team-high 23 points, five rebounds, three assists and three steals. Rollins was 10-of-18 from the field and 1-of-2 from three-point range. Rollins topped the Rockets in the first half with 17 points to help Toledo build a 54-31 lead.
