Sincere Carry led Kent State with 15 points. He went 5-of-18 from the field against an Indiana defense that held the Flashes to 31.9 percent over 40 minutes. Voncameron Davis and Chris Payton notched 10 apiece.
Kent State fell behind early and was forced to play catch-up all night. The Hoosiers, who hit 46.8 percent from the floor overall, held a 35-27 lead at intermission and went on a 10-4 run early in the second half to expand their advantage.
