Heading into Week Four of competition, the Ohio Bobcats are now the only MAC team still looking for its first win of 2021. They will have their work cut out for them Saturday as they battle Big Ten foe Northwestern on the Wildcats turf.

NORTHWESTERN WILDCATS (2-1, 0-1 Big Ten)
>> A late Wildcats rally came up short last week as hosting Duke edged Northwestern 30-27. The Blue Devels dominted scoring early. They lead 27-0 before Northwestern finally tallied a TD on Jacob Gill-'s 31-yard reception at 1:25 of the second stanza.
Duke added one field goal to close the period, but Northwestern scored 20 unanswered points after intermission. The final three came with 2:48 remaining, but Duke ran out the clock to preserve its win.
>> Northwestern surrendered 558 yards to the Bulue Devils (350 passing, 208 ground).
>> There were a total of eight penalties in the game, with Northwestern committing five -- two fumbles and three interceptions. That helped Duke own possession for 37:31.
>> Northwestern converted 5-of-13 third downs and registered 417 yards of total offense -- 260 through the air and 157 on the ground.
>> Andrew Marty completed 11-of-16 passes for 151 yards and two TDs. Hunter Johnson was 6-of-7 for 75 yards but was intercepted three times. Ryan Hilinski hit 2-of-7 for 34 yards.
>> Bryce Kirtz led Wildcat receivers with three catches for 72 yards. Seven players had at least two catches.
>> Four Northwestern defenders had at least 11 tackles, with Peter McIntyre leading the way (15 stops). The 'Cats registered one sack and eight TFL. Adetomiwa Adebawore picked off one Blue Devel pass.
OHIO BOBCATS (0-3)
>> Ohio fell behind 28-7 early in the third quarter and was only able to add one more TD and the Louisiana's Ragun' Cajuns defeated the Bobcats 49-14 last week. The hosts converted 6-of-12 third downs, while Ohio was just 3-of-11.
Overall, Louisiana owned a 562-250 advantage in total yardage.
>> Much of UL's damage came on the ground as they rolled up 310 yards rushing on 49 carries (6.3 ypc).
>> Ohio had a balanced attack, although the totals were limited. Bobcats rushers averaged 4.0 ypc while contributing 112 yards.
>> QB Kurtis Rourke completed 12-of-22 attempts for 122 yards with two touchdowns. Ty Walton topped receivers with five catches for 50 yards and a score. Oshaan Allison hd two receptions, totaling 44 yards with one TD.
>> Alvin Floyd recorded an interception.
