Toledo cruised to a 51-13 decision in the last Glass Bowl meeting between the two teams, and Central's last victory in Toledo was back in 2008.
CENTRAL MICHIGAN CHIPPEWAS (3-2)
>> The Chippewas opened 2020 with two wins over Ohio and Northern Illinois before dropping a 52-44 decision against Western Michigan. CMU bounced back with a 31-23 win over Eastern Michigan before fall hard (45-20) to surging Ball State last week.
>> Central Michigan contributed to its own demise against Ball State last week when it committed four turnovers -- two lost fumbles and two interceptions.
>> CMU surrendered 519 yards to Ball State. There was only one yard difference in rushing, but the Cardinals had 366 yards through the air to 188 for Central.
>> Junior quarterback Ty Brock has completed 63 percent 29-of-46) of his passes with two TDs and two pick (both last week).
>> Central Michigan ranks third among MAC teams in rushing (222.4 ypg_ and rushing defense (131.4 ypg). The Chippewa are eighth in passing offense (209.8 ypg) and last (12th) in pass defense (303.6 ypg). They are, however, tied for most interceptions with five.
>> Kalil Pimpleton leads CMU in receptions with 23, good for 241 yards and two TDs. Dallas Dixon has 13 catches for 263 yards and a score.
>> Central has 15 rushing TDs and six passing scores.
>> Kicker Marshall Meeder has a long field goal of 51 yards.
>> Both of UT's loses were by three points -- 41-38 to Western Michigan and 27-24 to Ball State.
>> The Rockets are fourth among MAC teams in scoring (37.2 ppg) and third in scoring defense (24.6 ypg).
>> Toledo’s defense currently ranks No. 1 in the MAC in total defense, allowing an average of 362.2 yards per game. A year ago, the Rockets finished last in the league (475.7).

>> Sophomore Carter Bradley got his third career start last week against Northern Illinois and completed 29-of-44 passes for 432 yards with three TDs and two interceptions.
>> Danzel McKinley-Lewis and Isaiah Winstead combined for 14 receptions, 216 yards and one TD last week.
>> Toledo and winless NIU were knotted at 24-all through three quarters. The Rockets then scored 17 unanswered points in the final stanza. Toledo’s defense gave up 294 yards in the first half vs. NIU but relinquished just 88 yards and five first downs in the final 30 minutes.
