The newest additions include three linebackers, two defensive backs, two defensive linemen, two offensive linemen, two wide receivers, a kicker, a quarterback, and a running back. A total of 21 of the 44 signees are already on campus and will be part of spring practice.
"We are super excited about both our transfer class and our high school class," said Head Coach Chris Creighton. "We have never had so many new players join us in January. We are off to a really good start and we have a lot to look forward to this June when the rest of our guys get here."
Eastern Michigan currently holds the top transfer class in the Mid-American Conference and 74th nationally according to 247Sports. All told, EMU has 13 transfers with a composite average of 85.00 according to the recruiting service.
