All three loses, however, were on the road, and the Zips will be on the home hardwood for their final three games. That’s particularly favorable for UA, which is undefeated at home this season.
Bowling Green, meanwhile, has struggled mightily on the road over the past month. Saturday’s big upset of Ohio (87-82) was at the Stroh Center. Prior to that, the Falcons had lost seven straight, including four on the road. The last Falcons home win was at Western Michigan, 79-78) back on Jan. 26.
Wesley Alcegaire and Spencer Parker led BG’s upset of Ohio with 20 points apiece. Isaiah Johnson led the way for Ohio against Miami with 231 points. However, Pat Forsyth has been out for three games and Antino Jackson was the only other UA player to reach double figures (14.)
With just three games left in the regular season and just a one-game lead over three other teams, the Zips will focused on trying to get back on track as soon as possible.
