► Toledo is making a major personnel transition this year. The high-scoring Rockets had five players averaging double figures in 2014-15. Among the departed are Julius Brown (16.3 ppg), Justin Drummond (13.1 ppg) and J.D. Westherspoon (12.9 ppg).

► Center Nathan Booth (6-9, 250) averaged double figures (10.0 ppg, 5.7 rpg) last year. Booth was a preseason All-MAC West Division selection – the Rockets only representative on the preseason team.
► Junior guard Jonathan Williams averaged 10.2 ppg. and 3.4 rpg. He was good on 36.1 percent of his 3-point attempts.
► Overall UT returns two starters and lost three. There are seven newcomers.

After consecutive losses at Detroit and at home against Oakland, UT won three straight to close out its non-conference slate.
OTHER:
► A media preseason poll picked UT to finish second (behind Central Michigan) in the MAC West.
► The Rockets 9-4 mark thus far is tied for second best among MAC teams. Northern Illinois has a 10-2 mark, while Ball State is also at 9-4.
► Toledo opens MAC play with two road tilts – at Ball State Wednesday, 7 p.m. ET and at Miami Saturday, 4 p.m. ET.
► The Rockets have won a MAC-Best 47 victories over the last two year, the most over a two-year span in Rocket basketball history.
► Toledo tops the MAC in scoring, averaging 82.2 ppg – two points higher than Ohio in second place. The Rockets are seventh in scoring defense (71.2 ppg) and third in scoring margin (+11)
► UT owns the MAC second best field goal percentage mark (47.2%) and is fourth in 3-point field goal percentage (36.6%). The Rockets top the league in assists, averaging 18.7 per game. However, they are last in steals (4.7 per contest). Still, they take care of the ball enough to rank fourth in turnover margin (+2.08)
► Toledo averages 37.8 rebounds per contest – seventh in the MAC.
► Three players are averaging double figures heading into MAC play. Williams leads the way with a 19.7 ppg mark. Booth is at 18.2 ppg and leads the squad with 8.8 rebounds per outing. Sophomore guard Stuckey Mosley is avering 10.9 ppg.
► Williams and Booth rank one-two among all MAC scorers. Booth is third in rebounds.
► Freshman guard Jaelan Sanford (9.1 ppg) and Nate Navigato (9.0 ppg) are just off double figures. Sanford’s season high (22 points) came in the Rockets opener. He has been in double figures in each of his last three games. Navigato, a 6-8 freshman has reached double figures six times, with a high of 20 Dec. 19 against Bethune-Cookman.
