BUFFALO, NY – The Buffalo Bulls were unable to keep up with the 10th ranked team in the nation on Monday night as the Bulls lost at Xavier, 86-53. The loss evened UB's record to 1-1 on the year.
Xavier (2-0) came into the game ranked 10th in the Coaches Poll and 11th in the AP poll -- and the Musketeers showed why, forcing 21 Buffalo turnovers. In addition to the turnover problem, the Bulls also struggled from the floor as they shot just 15-of-49 from the floor, including just 5-of-22 from inside the arc. Buffalo also struggled in the fouls department, getting called for 38 on the night, including 23 in the first half alone.
