After recording their first win of the season against Army, the Buffalo Bulls have absorved a pair of disappointing losses over the past two weeks. Most recently, Kent State erupted for 44 points in thumping the Bulls, 44-20.
Ball State is also coming off a loss as the Cardinal fell at Central Michigan (31-24) for the first time since 2006.

►The Cardinals committed two turnovers last week, while CMU had none. A Chippewas fourth quarter interception return 33 yards for a TD provided Central with its winning score.
► Sophomore quarterback Riley Neal completed 18 of 30 against CMU. He had one tD and two interceptions. That gives him six picks in six games. Neal owns a 59.5 completion percentage.
► Sophomore James Gilbert posted his second straight game of over 100 yards rushing last Saturday, His line included 22 carries for 119 yards and a pair of TDs. KeVonn Mabon ranks third among MAC receivers in receptions per game (6,2)
► LB Zach Ryan has 44 tackles. Defensive end Anthony Winbush has 8.0 TFL and 6.0 sacks among his 16 stops. DB Marc Walton owns 27 tackles and a pair of picks.

► The Bulls rank last among MAC teams in scoring offense (15.2 ppg). UB is ninth in scoring defense (31.8 ppg).
► Freshman QB Tyree Jackson completed 20 of 39 passes for 250 yards with one TD against Kent State. He has four TD passes and two interceptions over the first five games.
► Mason Schreck (16 receptions, 194 yards, 1 TD) and Marcus McGill (13 receptions, 183 yards) are the Bulls top receivers.
►LB Khalil Hodge has registered 55 tackles, including two 3.o tfl and 2.0 sacks.
