For Bowling Green, its just about finding wins, and after surprising rival Toledo on Falcon turf two weeks ago, BGSU dropped a 38-20 decision to MAC West contender Central Michigan last week at Doyt L. Perry Stadium. Three interceptions were part of the Falcons problems on the day.

Bowling Green leds the series 32-19-3. TheFalcons last played in Kalamazoo in 2015. On that day, BGSU secured a MAC East championship by beating WMU, 41-27.

>> Despite an extended losing streak (four straight losses after Week One), the Falcons
are a game out of first place in the MAC East. Ohio, Kent State and Miami have 2-1
MAC marks. The latter two play each other Saturday, while Ohio has a very tough
assignment against Ball State.
>> Redshirt junior running back Bryson Denley continues to be one of the more
versatile playmakers in the country. Over the last two games, he’s registered 311 all-
purpose yards.
In BGSU’s most-recent game against Central Michigan, Denley topped BGSU rushers
after carrying the ball 11 times for 67 yards. With his three receptions for 48 yards and
one kickoff return for 23 yards, he totaled 138 all-purpose yards on 15 touches and
averaged 9.2 yards per touch. The 67 yards rushing are a single-game high for Denley
>> After trailing 21-7 at the half last week, BG pulled within one score on Grant Loy's
3-yard run at 10:30 of the third period. However, Central Michigan tallied 17 straight
points to pull away. Loy's 3-yard toss to Bryson Denley at 7:46 of the final quarter
closed scoring.
>> The Falcons were just 1-of-11 on third down opportunities against Central Michigan.
The Chippewas outgained BGSU 553-344 overall.
>> CMU averaged 6.4 yards per rush on the way to 254 rushing yards. The Falcons had 178 ground yards and 166 through the air.
>> Both teams drew double figure flags: CMU 10/79 yards and BGSU 12/83 yards.
>> Loy completed 13 of 29 passes for 166 yards with one touchdown and three interceptions. He also rushed for 67 yards, tying Bryson Denley for the team-high in that department.
>> Quintin Morris caught for balls for 69 yards, while Denley grabbed three for 48 and a touchdown.
>> Jamari Bozeman recorded 14 tackles with seven solos, while Brandon Perce and Kholbe Coleman notched 10 apiece. Jordan Anderson picked off a pass.
>> Bowling Green is last (MAC) in scoring deefense (35.4 ppg) and 11th in scoring ofense (16.1 ppg)

>> The Bronos held an early 14-3 lead last week at Eastern Michigan, but EMU out scored Western 23-7 to take a 26-21 lead. Levante Bellamy's 8-yard TD run gave the Broncos their last lead, 27-26 (the PAT pass failed), but EMU scored a final touchdown with 36 seconds left and added a two-point connversion for the final 34-27 margin.
>> There was just one turnover in the game - an interception thrown by quarterback Jon Wassink and picked off by EMU's Jeff Hubbard. Western is second among MAC teams in turnover margin (plus-4). This week's opponent, Bowling Green is seventh (Minus-2).
>> WMU is second (MAC) in scoring (34.4 ppg), while BG is 11th (16.1 ppg).
>> Keith Mixon averaged 22.7 ypr on kickoffs against Eastern.
