The Ohio Bobcats seek to even their non-conference record Saturday when they host Gardner-Webb. The two schools have met twice previously, with Ohio winning both contests. The most recent meeting was in 2011, when OU cruised to a 30-2 decision.

GARDNER WEBB BULLDOGS (1-2, 0-0 BIG SOUTH)
► The Citadel amassed 431 yards of offense. Of that total, just 12 yards came on passing. Gardner-Webb registered 353 total yards, with 219 on the ground and 134 through the air.
► The Bulldogs return four starters along the offensive line.
► GWU currently ranks second in the Big South Conference in rushing yardage per game (272.3).
► Khalil Lewis (5010, 215, RSo) led GWU rushers with 97 yards on 20 carries. Jonathan Blackman added 77 yards on six trips.
► Junior quarterback Tyrell Maxwell completed 10 of 20 passes for 134 yards last week He also ran 13 times for 43 yards, which was a season low.
► Citadel defenders managed three sacks against GWU, which did not record a sack.
► Linebacker Chad Geter is 14 hits away from becoming the 14th Big South Conference player with 300 tackles. He owns 29.5 TFL and 10.5 sacks.
►In its previous four games against MAC schools, Gardner-Webb has scored TDs against only Ohio (2007) and Akron (2010).
► The Bobcats trailed by just two points (21-19) entering the fourth quarter Saturday at Tennessee.
► Senior QB Greg Windham completed 23 of 46 passes for 230 yards and one TD at UT. He has thrown six touchdowns against just one interception this season. Through three games, he has completed 54.7 percent of his passing attempts.
► Rushing yardage was tough to come by at Tennessee. Windham led the way (9/39 yards) as the team totaled 88 rushing yards. He also tops the team on the season, running 33 times for 222 yards (6.7 ypc) with a long of 53.
► Dorian Brown and Maleek Irons have combined for 309 rushing yards.
► Senior Sebastian Smith collected nine receptions for 156 yards (long of 42) against the Volunteers. Jordan Reed accounted for the ‘Cats only touchdown.
► Ohio got four field goals from freshman Louie Zervos. Overall, he has made 13 of 14 attempts in three games, with a long of 46.
