Both teams are coming off wins. Eastern Michigan knocked off Charlotte, 37-17 on the road. Wyoming needed three overtimes to pull out a home win over another MAC school – Northern Illinois, 40-34.
► The Cowboys are averaging 34.0 ppg and allowing 36.0 ppg.
► Wyoming averages 210.7 ypg passing and 216.0 ypg rushing for a total of 426.7 ypg.
► UW is surrendering 425 ypg (310.0 passing and 115.0 rushing).
► Wyoming opened with a triple-overtime win over Northern Illinois (40-34). Six turnovers fueled a 52-17 loss at Nebraska, but the Cowboys bounced back to defeat Cal-Davis, 45-22.
► Sophomore Josh Allen has completed 46 of 76 attempts (60.5%) with six touchdowns and five interceptions. All five picks came in the loss at Nebraska.
► Junior RB Brian Hill (6-1, 219) owns five of the Cowboys seven rushing TDs. He owns 381 yards on 75 carries (5.1 ypc). Hill amassed 207 rushing yards with two scores last week. It was the sixth 200-yard game of his career.
► Tanny Gentry (17 catches, 261 yards, 3 TDs) and Jake Mauhardt (11 catches, 177 yards, 1 TD) are the top receivers.
► FS Andrew Wingard leads Wyoming with 31 tackles and also has an interception. DE Carl Granderson has notched 12 tackles, 4.5 TFL and 3.0 sacks.
► Freshman kicker Cooper Roth has converted 4 of 8 field goal attempts, with a long of 39.
EASTERN MICHIGAN EAGLES (2-1, 0-0 MAC)
► The Eagles are scoring at a 39.7 ppg clip, while allowing 31.3 ppg.
► EMU averages 256.7 ypg passing and 164.7 ypg via the running game.
► Eastern Michigan has allowed 398.0 ypg, with 281.3 through the air and 116.7 rushing the football.
► Junior quarterback Todd Porter has completed 62 of 98 pass attempts (63.3%) with six TDs and four interceptions. He has only been sacked twice thus far.
► Porter was good on 77.4 percent (24/31) of his passes in his last outing, a 37-19 win at Charlotte.
► Sophmore Ian Erikson (5-10, 206) leads EMU rushing with 44 carries for 206 yards (4.7 ypc) with four TDs. He also has four receptions for a total of 70 yards.
► Shaq Vann, a major offensive contributor last year, including against Wyoming, was injured in the Missouri game and reportedly will miss the rest of the season. He was averaging 7.9 ypc on 21 trips this year.
► John Niupalau leads EMU in receiving yards (8/159). Sergio Bailey is tops in catches (12/103). Antoine Porter owns 10 receptions for 134 yards. Nigel Kilby is the receiving TD leader with two.
