“Nick is a very talented guard who is extremely quick and can generate offense a number of ways,” said Kowalczyk, who has guided the Rockets to a Mid-American Conference-best 47-20 (.701) win-loss mark over the last two seasons. “Nick is also a good on-ball defender, and we’re very excited that’s he decided to become a Rocket.”

Rogers possesses some family ties to the Rockets’ program, as his great uncle Harvey Knuckles (1977-81) earned 1981 MAC Player of the Year honors.
Rogers is the fifth member of Toledo’s 2015-16 recruiting class. He joins forward Taylor Adway, forward/center Luke Knapke, guard Jaelan Sanford and Chandler White.
