Freshman guard Jaelan Sanford topped UT's attack with 22 points, buoyed by a 6-of-8 performance from behind the three-point arc. Sophomore guard Stuckey Mosley tallied career highs in points (17) and rebounds (8) to go along with four assists and zero turnovers in 26 minutes.
Toledo's two returning starters, senior center Nathan Boothe and junior guard Jonathan Williams, each contributed 15 points. Boothe tied Mosley for team rebounding honors with eight boards and also dished out a game-high six assists in 23 minutes.
Forward Paul Stone and guard Ryan Atkins paced the Golden Bears in scoring with 20 and 17 points, respectively.

The Rockets never trailed as Boothe tallied UT's first nine points. Toledo broke the game open with a 10-0 spurt for a 38-22 cushion with 5:56 remaining in the opening stanza.
UT expanded its lead even further with a 13-1 burst to open the second half for a 54-32 advantage. A Sanford trey and dunk sandwiched eight straight points from Williams to put the Midnight Blue and Gold ahead by a 59-33 margin.
The Rockets begin a five-game swing away from Savage Arena with a visit to Youngstown State on Wednesday, Nov. 18. The opening tip against the Penguins is set for 7:05 p.m. at YSU's Beeghly Center.
