● Toledo steam-rolled Arkansas State 37-7 during a seven-game win streak to start the 2015 season. Terry Swanson scored two short touchdowns as UT gained 169 yards on the ground in that contest and totaled 477 yards. The RedWolves, previously averaging 414 ypg, totaled 209 yards and were held to minus-14 yards rushing.
● Swanson returns as part of a what should again be a very productive Toledo rushing attack. Swanson averaged 6.5 ypc last year, while Kareen Hunt was at 5.5 ypc and tallied 12 TDs. Hunt and Swanson (both All-MAC selections) totaled nearly 1900 yards rushing in 2015.

● Toledo Receiving targets include Corey Jones, who had 55 catches for 577 yards and 5 TDs last year.
● Ut returns 15 starters (8 off/4 def/3 st)
● Jason Candle moved up to take over head caching duties this season. He was also at the helm for Toledo’s 32-17 win over Temple in the Marmot Boca Raton Bowl. Candle had been an assistant atUT since 2009.
● Linebacker Ja’Wuan Woodley registered 50 tackles, with 6.5 TFL and 2.0 sacks in 2015. DT Treyvon Hester owned 34 stops, 6.5 TFL and 2.5 TFL),
● DB DeJuan Rogers totaled 67 tackles for UT
● Quarterback Chad Roytik is a transfer from Pittsburgh. Although he had just 16 completions in 24 attempts last year, he completed 176 of 287 for 2,233 yards and 16 TDs with 7 picks back in 2014.
● Running back Warren Wand gained 709 yards with five touchdowns last year. Dijal Paschal grabbed 28 aerials for 541 yards with three TDs.
● Linebacker Xavier Woodson is back after recording 71 tackles, 6.5 TFL and 2.0 sacks. Defensive End JaVon Rolland had 13.0 TFL and 9.0 sacks among his 38 stops. DB Cody Brown was good for 65 hits and three picks.
