In late June, WBBZ-TV "Bragging Rights" game show host John Di Sciullo withdrew a significant amount of money he had saved for a long awaited vacation with his daughter. Unfortunately, it had fallen out of his sport coat at the Eastern Hills Mall parking lot in between the station and the adjacent Sports Performance Park around 2:30p.m. that same day.
Perisse, who works out at the gym, saw the unmarked envelope on the ground and recovered it. There was no identification information enclosed, but he told his trainer Tom Corradino to watch out for the owner of the vehicle the envelope was near, and explained what he had found.

While searching inside and out, Corradino noticed John and went outside to question what he was looking for. John responded with information about the envelope with cash for an upcoming trip. Tom gave John the number for Perisse, and informed him of his discovery.
John and Max connected, meeting at UB the next day, and the $2,500 was returned.
"I should have followed through and picked up a debit card as intended, Di Sciullo said. “Instead, I rushed around and could have paid a dear price for that loss if it were not for the honesty and concern of this fine young athlete. My daughter Jade and I dedicated our long awaited West coast trip in his honor. We will be rooting Max and the Bulls to victory this fall!"
