The Broncos were within one point of having all five starters in double figures against MU. Connar Tava came up just short of double figures with nine markers. However, he led WMU in rebounding with 10 boards and played an important part in the Broncos comeback. Austin Richie paced the WMU scoring with 16 points. He was followed by Tucker Haymond (15), Drake Lamont (10) and David Brown (10).
L.J. Livingston led Miami with 12 points, while Jaryd Eustace added 10 off the bench and point guard Eric Washington netted 10.
The Broncos (12-6, 3-2 MAC) will attempt to extend their four-game winning streak Saturday when they host Akron (2 p.m. ET). Miami (6-12, 1-4) will try to break a three-game losing streak Saturday at Northern Illinois (4 p.m. ET).
